Franchise, Fees & Planning Manager, SoCalGas
Geoff Danker is the Franchise, Fees & Planning Manager at the Southern California Gas Company. In this role, Mr. Danker develops and recommends environmental policy for SoCalGas in response to proposed regulations, legislation or emerging environmental policy issues. He is responsible for negotiating utility franchise agreements and leads analysis, strategy development and implementation for local and regional planning initiatives. Prior to SoCalGas, Geoff worked as an environmental consultant providing planning, permitting and policy expertise for a variety of energy and infrastructure projects. He is currently the Awards Director of the American Planning Association – Los Angeles Section and a Board Member of the Young Professionals in Energy. Geoff is pursuing his EMBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and holds a B.S. in Environmental Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
President, Sapphos Environmental, Inc.
Ms. Marie Campbell, principal of Sapphos Environmental, Inc., is an environmental compliance specialist with over 30 years of experience in managing the environmental compliance process for public- and private-sector projects requiring strategic planning, environmental documentation pursuant to the NEPA and CEQA, regulatory permitting, construction monitoring and reporting. She has served as the project manager or strategic environmental advisor on hundreds of documents prepared pursuant to NEPA and CEQA. She is recognized by the Los Angeles Bar Association as an expert witness for NEPA and CEQA, and has served in that capacity on cases involving complex land use entitlement and related issues. She serves as an elected member-at-large for the Board of Directors for the National Association of Environmental Professionals, where she chairs the Education Committee. She also serves on the State Board for the California Association of Environmental Professions. Marie holds a B.A. in Ecosystems and a M.A. in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Jane Besch is Principal at Geonsyntec Consultants based in the Pasadena, CA. Jane has more than 25 years of experience in the environmental health and safety fields. Her primary technical expertise includes environmental health and safety compliance audits, air-water-waste permitting, plan writing, due diligence support, and safety compliance. Jane has conducted compliance auditing for clients in the airline, energy, and oil and gas industries and has experience in Title V, NSR, PSD permitting, as well as strategic air compliance planning. Ms. Besch is a Certified Permitting Professional within the South Coast Air Quality Management District. Andrina Dominguez is an Environmental Specialist with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Andrina’s work focuses on CEQA and NEPA documentation, mitigation monitoring and reporting, construction monitoring, Native American consultation, and climate change adaptation and resiliency. Mr. Sneider is an environmental scientist with over 8 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. Mr. Sneider has obtained the Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) certification from the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice, a multi-media, multi-disciplinary, board-certified credential. He has worked in a variety of capacities in environmental consulting including: operating and maintaining groundwater treatment and Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) remediation systems; conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments; and implementing remedial investigations, including groundwater, soil and soil gas sampling. In addition, Mr. Sneider is the GIS/Database Manager for Geosyntec’s Pasadena office with expertise in data analysis and visualization utilizing the latest GIS software tools, database management, and data-based three dimensional modeling using Environmental Visualization System (EVS) software. Jake earned his B.S. in Soil Sciences from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo.

Shannon Walker is an Environmental Specialist with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). Throughout Shannon’s 4 years at Metro she has focused on environmental compliance and CEQA/NEPA clearances on a number of major capital construction projects and is currently assigned to the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project. This is Shannon’s third year as a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of AEP and her first year on the LA AEP Board of Directors.
